New DSi? DS2 from Nintendo Within The Next 8-15 months?

No sooner do we hear about the DS XL from Nintendo, but now we’re hearing about the DS2. Apparently we’re going to be seeing the next handheld marvel within the next 8-15 months. So the question is will Xmas 2010 be about the DS XL and then try and get you to upgrade again in 2011 or will they go for a big Xmas launch with this new bit of kit?
New Hardware for 2010

We’ve taken a little look at what 2010 means for software in 2010 (We’ll finish off with Xbox exclusives shortly) but let’s change gear for a while and look at what 2010 means for hardware.
I think it’s pretty safe to say that we’re not going to see the next version of Xbox, Playstation of Wii this year, but there are some major tech advances afoot. A big art of the new tech goals is for Sony and Microsoft to chip away at the Wii’s USP and as such Nintendo will try and differentiate themselves even further.
